Spring Apothecary Jar Labels Printable

The other week, we had a glorious spring weather wave hit the Carolinas, and I got to switch out my hot coffee for the yummy chilled mocha Frappuccino stuff… sipping it in the preschool carpool line in my paint splattered clothes. (I live a glamorous life.)

And I looked down at my empty Starbucks Frappuccino glass bottle.  You know the kind you can pick up at the gas station when you’re in a major rush?

And it hit me.  Peel off the label, slap an apothecary printable on it, and it would look instantly cute and vintage.  Yay for recycling!  It inspired me to create the Easter tablescape I showed y’all last week.

These so easy to print out, tape onto any random glass bottles you have lying around, and fill them with some pretty grocery store flowers.  (And the best part, arranging flowers in a bunch of little bottles makes it look like you have mad decorating skills, if flower arranging isn’t your thing.)

Would you ever guess that middle bottle with the Belmont Pharmacy label is that Starbucks container from gas station?

This big bottle actually came from my grandmother’s house, and it’s probably older than I am.

I love this bright and cheerful corner in our living room now.  I stuck the bottles on top of our milk painted cabinet that hides part of our massive DVD collection and accompanied them with my DIY oversized vintage map and my favorite boxwood wreath from Target.

Probably after the real flowers die, I’ll replace them with a few fake ones because that’s usually how I roll.

These are so cute! Love this idea. I am a sucker for printables. I actually just made a watercolor herb/botanical printable banner. I put it up on my mantle and it’s just so simple. I’d love for you to check it out on my blog. I always enjoy reading your blog, Lauren! 🙂

You did it Lauren. These are my favorite from the whole hop. Seriously brilliant and so authentic looking and your styling is ON POINT. Gah! I’m dying.

I realize my tech skills are a bit lacking, but I don’t show anything for page 3. I couldn’t get the little labels to print. Is it me?? I just love these labels. You did an amazing job on them -as you do with all your projects :). Thank you!

You tablescape is so gorgeous! The flowers with the map and wreath make a great combination. Thanks for the labels!! I had not thought of doing them for any other holiday than Halloween.

Love these! All the bottles look so pretty grouped together with the labels, and pretty flowers. I never would have guessed that one was a Starbucks bottle!

Tania

Love your cabinet vignet. The labels are great! Could you decopage them on the bottles for a more permanent solution?

Did you use Double sided tape? I just made a shelf for above my bathtub using an old shutter. Now to adorn the shelf with some glass knobs and glass jars and pretty labels!

Fellow crafter in the Carolinas!

Hi Melissa! Yes, I used double sided tape for the labels. You can also use scrapbooking adhesive dots. Those will look so cute on a shelf above a tub!

Hi Lauren, I am wanting to print your botanical prints at Staples. I called them and they said they had to have a copyright permission to do so. I wanted to print these there because I don’t have the printer capabilities to do so. Can you help me so I can get these?

Thanks, Debbie

Oh man! Well, you can send them a link to this blog post if you’d like. Maybe that will settle the issue. But the images are in the public domain, so they don’t have a copyright restriction at all. They’re available for anyone to use. If you tell them they’re public domain images, they might accept that.
