Hold on. How did this happen? Father’s Day is starting to sneak up on me this year. (I blame the kitchen makeover that’s taking way longer than I’d planned.)
So while I’ve been painting cabinets for 4 days straight, I’ve brainstormed the coolest dad gift ideas EVAAA! Or at least ideas that are more unique than the usual neck tie and box of golf balls.
If you’re ever feeling stumped on what to get your dad (or your husband from your kiddos), I compiled a list of dad-approved gifts. No seriously, Robert was ready for me to buy every single one of these for him.
I wouldn’t mind having several of them for myself either actually. And they’re budget-friendly, which is always a big plus.
I’m gonna make him a steak he can’t refuse… or something like that. (Wink wink.) If you have a grill master dad, this one’s pretty awesome.
Because every dad of a toddler needs a back rub, am I right? Bust out the matchbox cars and go to town.
This modern spin on a Swiss Army knife is pretty cool. It has a wrench, a bottle opener, a saw blade, and eight other tools that can fit into a credit card slot in your wallet.
My husband just got this vintage style shaving set and he loves it! He gets a much closer shave with it and the blades last longer and are way cheaper than modern day razors. It actually saves money in the long-run.
I love this unique spin on a family tree that would be so sweet and sentimental as a gift for a grandfather. Each ring in the tree stump represents a generation in the family.
If you have an outdoorsy dad to buy for, this personalized pocket knife would be perfect. It’d be fun to include a surprise camping trip with it too.
I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about this men’s devotional (and the reviews on Amazon are all 5 stars too). I haven’t read it myself of course, but it’s a great idea for a dad who needs a little faith time.
Have you seen these new wood watches yet? They are really versatile and I mean… the wood just says “manly” I think.
If you have a dad who is passionate about a hobby, blueprint art would be a really fun way to give him a piece of something he loves for his office or man cave. Okay, really I’d hang these anywhere in my house because they’re beautiful. There are all kinds of categories to choose from too: sports, automobiles, planes, nautical, science and engineering, etc.
If you’ve got a beer fan to buy for, these bottle openers are made using authentic blacksmithing techniques. Aren’t they neat?! I kinda want one actually. Include it along with a Beers of the World pack and you’re all set.
Yes. It’s a flask hidden inside of a neck tie. Sneaky sneaky. If you’re into gag gift giving, this one’s pretty fool proof. And hey, Dad could actually use it if wanted… maybe at a wedding, not the office. Calm down, Dad. I discovered these particular ones are sold out temporarily, but you can find similar ones here.
If your dad is a big coffee drinker, this rustic industrial style coffee dripper is designed for slow-brew aficionados.
Maybe it’s not all that unique, but this wallet/phone case in one is beautiful. And it’s not too crazy pricey either. You can get it personalized with initials stamped into the leather too.
For the handyman dad because DIYing and coffee just go together. 😉 And a funny little mug is semi-mandatory when it comes to silly Father’s Day gifts anyway.
Do you have any fun gift ideas to give the guys in your life for Father’s Day? I’d love to hear about them! Robert is getting one of these, but I can’t tell which one yet. 😉
