5 Budget-Friendly Thanksgiving Tablescape Ideas
5 Thanksgiving table decorating mood boards using a variety of color schemes with inexpensive items from Walmart.
It’s been way too long since I’ve shared a mood board inspiration post.
Ever since I discovered them right around the time I started this little blog, I’ve learned two major lessons:
- Mood boarding is the BEST tool for visualizing all kinds of styles and color schemes to learn more about yourself and what looks good together.
- They’re ADDICTING!
(If you don’t know how to make them, here’s a full video how to on my IG stories.)
As one last hoorah for Thanksgiving this year, I thought it would be fun to dream up a bunch of different Thanksgiving tablescape ideas using items from Walmart.
So I experimented with 5 different table decor color schemes using affordable items that I hope will help inspire a joyful sanctuary space for your household this season, if you’re looking for ways to make it feel a little extra special.
I really can’t pick a favorite out of the bunch. Which style is “you”?

I have it narrowed down to the Green & Copper, Rust & Gold, and Neutral & Natural. Thanksgiving or not though, I think those vases need to be in our house somewhere.
If you need some last minute budget-friendly decor to perk up your table, you can grab so many cute things at Walmart that don’t look “budget-y” at all.
But no matter what your table looks like, I truly hope you find joy this holiday season, even if it does probably look a little different this year.
2020 has definitely made lots of us extra thankful for home, no matter what home looks like.
