Random thought: You remember when TGIF was the best day ever because it meant Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Step by Step were on TV? I miss those.
Okay, back to present day, it’s Bless’er Farmhouse Friday! I’m so excited about this one because months ago, I stumbled across this Instagram feed and pinned probably every single picture.
This is Kayla from Plum Pretty Decor and Design, and she doesn’t know it, but she’s my bestie.
Because, I mean, just LOOK at her house. Kayla and her childhood sweetheart hubby live in North Carolina and own a traveling vintage and antique shop, which they operate at pop-up shows when Kayla isn’t designing. So all kinds of unique antiques show up all over in photos of her home, like these French drying racks doubled as her breakfast nook wall decor…
…and her collection of old, white plates.
Her office is basically chippy white paint heaven.
And Kayla is a big fan of incorporating raw wood in all of her designs to show off their natural grain. This little spot in her living room looks perfect for spring and summer with all of that botanical action going on.
Oh, and speaking of her living room. Hello, lover. In case you can’t tell, she likes magnolia wreaths. And I’m Ryan-Gosling-level crushing on that garland.
Her master bed is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
I think she keeps some of the best furniture she finds for herself, don’t you? I mean, I don’t blame her.
And this is just a little glimpse of her traveling antique shop. Like something straight out of Country Living Magazine.
If you want to see more of Kayla’s home and more about her shop, you can check her out on her IG feed or on her blog.
And you can share your own home with me on Instagram too using the hashtag #BlesserFarmhouse
Happy weekend, friends! (Also, a little birdy told me a guest bedroom makeover update might be happening next week. Wink wink.)
