Bless’er Heart Weekends

It’s the freakin’ weekend!!!

When I shared the first Bless’er Heart Weekends post a couple of Fridays ago, so many of you told me how much you loved it, so I’m just gonna keep ALL of the randomness coming. Haha!

If you missed it before though, I started this post as a way to have a laid-back friend-to-friend chat with y’all to share anything and everything that inspires me, pretty fashion finds, beauty/health faves, parenting love, nuggets of faith, sales I stumble upon, design yumminess, and whatever boats my float that I think you might like too…

(Some affiliate links are provided in this post. Full disclosure here.)

  • Robert and I are kicking off a secret project that we’ve been plotting for months! Here’s a hint.
  • I’ve already started my Christmas shopping by picking up these super soft chenille throw blankets that are on sale for Regan and Olivia’s teachers. (I know, that’s probably crazy BUT I love knocking out all of my Christmas to-do list by Thanksgiving so that I can just sit back and enjoy the holidays. Do you do that too?)
  • This fall photo stopped me in my tracks on Instagram a few days ago. This entire feed is full of stunning travel photography.

  • The girls and I (along with Robert and both of my parents helping me wrangle them) did a birthday photo shoot last weekend complete with flower crowns and these frilly tutus. Oh, be still my heart! Fun fact: I was a Sears Portrait Studio photographer in college for two years that totally prepared me for these two silly girls.

  • I just started using this face primer and OH MY ‘LANTA my skin has never looked so amazing.
  • I’m not a huge lipstick kind of girl, but this one in this shade (Viva Glam II) is the only one I’ve absolutely loved, and it works on every skin tone.
  • I did something crazy and bought faux leather leggings a few weeks ago. This mama feels smokin’ hot but definitely am reserving them for date nights only. Still getting used to them. Haha!
  • This quote totally speaks to me. Real queens straighten each other’s crowns, am I right?

  • Lately, I’ve been starting to plan our office makeover (that we might not even get to until 2020, but it’s fun to dream) and this is giving me ALL the heart eyes for luxe office vibes. Thinking we could definitely pull it off on an IKEA-meets-Walmart kind of project.

  • Robert and I shared a peek at our couple’s devotional that we do every morning over coffee along with a few other devotion recommendations I’ve loved. You can still find it in my Instagram Story highlights.
  • We still haven’t figured out our Halloween costume in a couple of weeks, which NEVER happens. This was last year’s and I want a repeat! Check out that bearded lady. Haha! Regan was so tiny!!!

  • Robert and I discovered this chicory coffee this month and it is the JAM! Plus, the can makes adorable fall decor on shelves, so there’s that. (Can you spot it below?) According to some of y’all on Instagram, the beignet mix is incredible too.

  • If you’re starting to think about Thanksgiving hosting, my friend Bre just published a book called The Gift of Gathering that is chock full of beautiful entertaining ideas, and I can’t get enough of it.

I’ll be whipping up some Thanksgiving decorating and guest hosting ideas next week too that will hopefully help some of y’all.

Are you hosting this year?! I know Halloween isn’t even here yet, but we’re usually the early birds when it comes to blog land.

Where did you get those gorgeous orange glass candle holders? Or did the candles come in them? They’d be perfect for fall decor, if fall ever comes to Florida. (Although I’m not knocking today’s 84 degrees!!!)

  4. Love the pictures of the beautiful girls…absolutely adorable. You captured their sweet personalities – they grow up fast so enjoy every minute with them.
