So about that little (okay, big) surprise I mentioned earlier this week… Y’ALL! I WROTE A DECORATING COURSE!
The Broke Gal’s Decorating E-Course to be exact. It is for the budget-conscious (hello, yours truly here) who wants to learn lots of tips and tricks for home decor and interior design. I should also mention IT’S FREE!
And it’s for all levels of experience- whether you’ve been around the decorating block a time or two or you’re just starting out and feeling completely lost in your home. This course has your back.
So here’s how it works. I wanted to make this as easy as possible for y’all, so all you have to do is sign up to receive the 5 day course in your email.
So once you sign up, you will get a budget decorating lesson in your inbox every 3 days for a total of 5 lessons. I wrote up a storm to pack as much great information into each lesson as I possibly could with all the best tricks I’ve learned to transform our once blank house into the modern farmhouse we love.
Here’s just a snippet of everything in the course:
To start off, I’m sharing my favorite method to find your decorating style, which will ultimately make shopping at thrift stores, planning room makeovers, and making decorating decisions a breeze.
For Day 2, I wrote up a full tutorial for designing a room and how to make your budget and your wish list work for you. It is by far the #1 way I save money in every makeover we tackle.
In Day 3, I’m sharing a huge list of ideas to improve your home with little to no money at all. Some of the best ways to transform your home into something you are proud of cost not even a dime.
For Day 4, I’m giving away all the tricks I learned to be a smart thrift shopper. People so often say to me, “I’m just not creative. I’m not good at seeing the potential of junk at thrift stores and yard sales.”
I’ve been there and I felt the same way the first time I walked into a thrift store… completely lost and overwhelmed. But this lesson teaches you how to see through a creative lens in order to make something beautiful out of that so-called “junk”.
And for Day 5, I updated my original list of home decor sources to include even more discount secrets that I’ve discovered to save as much money as possible on new items for your home.
Several DIY guides and inspirations are sprinkled in as well.
I’ll also let y’all in on a little secret. I will be launching a huge ebook later this summer! It will have tons more budget decorating strategies, secrets, and tips than this ecourse. So consider this a sneak preview and my way of saying thank you for sticking with me through all of our DIY adventures in our home.
I truly hope this course gives back to you as much as you have given me through your encouragement and motivation. YOU are the ones who keep this blog going, and I thank God every day that He has allowed me to do something that I am passionate about.
Because truly, a home should ultimately be a place where you and your family can grow and thrive and feel inspired every day to then go out into the world and make it a better place. Home should be a place that renews you and gives you strength.
I hope this course teaches you to love your home so that your home can love you back.
Are you ready for it? See ya in your inbox!
