The only downer is all of the current projects I have planned require painting and it has been raining for the past two days. Paint + rainy weather = tacky/sticky finish. No bueno. So what do you do when DIYing must come to a halt? Go find inspirations instead!
As we are nearing the end-of-the-crib era for our little Livie Bug…and I hit the realization that my baby is not an infant anymore…I’ve been brainstorming all sorts of fun themes for her room.

Aren’t they all just precious? So fresh and fun and full of possibilities.

As we near that project, I’ll be nailing down some paint colors with a few samples. Hello! Pink of course! Elle Woods would be proud.
Inspiration #2: How cute is this aqua nightstand and monogrammed lamp shade (below)? I’ve mentioned to Robert a time or two (*wink wink* here’s one more hint if you’re reading, babe), that I would luuuuuurve a cricut machine for my birthday so I can craft my heart out and go label-crazy. So many projects I think of doing would work so much better with a cricut machine. Sigh…it’ll happen one day. I can sacrifice things…like wine. (Gasp! Or something else.)
So that’s my brain on Lilly. But honestly there are so many cute little girl rooms out there, I can’t go wrong. I am constantly craving more inspirations because really I cannot absorb enough cuteness. Got a cute little girl room inspiration or a tried and true little girl room you whipped up yourself? I want to see it! Add a link in the comments section so anyone can borrow your ideas. 🙂 Mimicry is the best form of flattery.
