I am hooked on TJMaxx. I know, I know. It’s a problem. But I hate to tell ya…I don’t see myself getting cured anytime soon. I walk through that automatic sliding door, find myself weightless as I glide to the clearance aisle, and those magical florescent lights shine their glowing beacon upon the perfect something that’s calling my name. “Take me home, Lauren. Take me home!”
So I do. 🙂 Here are some of my recent fab finds:
Mail organizer and chalkboard to put beside the garage entry door (and to write little love notes to my hubs…teehee). It’s sort of a nod at Robert’s Marine Corps past as he said it reminds him of the mail sorters on base. Eventually, I plan on putting an entry bench and some baskets for shoes below it. This baby was originally $80; I got it for $40. (Robert added the “Mail Call” part but I’m sure we’ll change out messages and reminders periodically.)

Chalkboard labeled canisters- I had planned to DIY chalkboard labels on some cheapo canisters from Walmart or somewhere, but I I loved the pops of red on these and couldn’t argue with the price. Originally approximately $10 each; I got them for $3. If I ever stumble across another small one like the “rice” one, I’m on it.

And our dining room FINALLY has some artwork in it. No furniture still, but the wall is looking good at least. This 40 x 40 canvas was originally $100 and I got it for $35 on clearance at Kirkland’s.

Tell me what ya think! I read every comment I receive.
