It’s so hard to believe how different life was just two weeks ago, but that’s when we went on a quick family trip to Georgia just before the worldwide chaos hit, and we stayed in a GORGEOUS Airbnb coastal house on Sea Island.
I have a lot of family in the Brunswick / Saint Simons area, who we visit at least once per year.
It was such a great escape to enjoy family time and hit the beach for sunny mid-day walks to go seashell hunting with the girls.
If you’re looking for a little distraction, I thought it’d be fun to give you a quick house tour. (I’m sharing a video tour with more rooms on Instagram Stories today too.)
I wish I had photos of what this house looked like a couple of years ago before they flipped it because it went through a major transformation.
These brick pavers and white brick!
Best reading spot ever…
These doors and those two cuties make a pretty fab view.
I mean…
This kitchen made me so ready to renovate ours.
And this breakfast nook’s banquette, big window, and little writing desk were so perfect.
And this dining room…
Regan’s favorite spot was the sun room.
And this shower was as big as our entire master bathroom!
But even though we felt so fortunate to enjoy this house for a weekend, the best part was the sweet memories we made with our GA family and our two little sweeties.
Sending y’all lots of love and hugs as we’re snuggled back at home in South Carolina, where it looks like we’ll be for quite a while. But there’s still no place I’d rather be.
What a BEAUTIFUL house!
We recently visited Sea Island for the first time…what a lovely area! We will probably go back sometime soon – I will need to check to see if this beautiful home is available! Thank you for sharing…take care!
Gorgeous! Do you know the brand of the sofas? I love them.
Your children are beautiful. Thanks for the dreamy diversion.
Nothing like spending time with your family in nice digs!!!
Oh my GOSH – that place is amazing. Wow. You must be so proud of them.
Whew, just gorgeous.
Look how big Reagan is getting..glad you had a great family time to remember.
Growing so fast! She’s almost 18 months now. It’s so hard to believe.
Also love the sofas. Pls advise, if you can, where they came from!
Wonderful sharing your family with us..thanks!
Beautiful. Where are the counter stools from?
I’m not entirely sure. This was just a vacation home we stayed in.
This was a rented home. I’m not sure.
