Fess up. Have you had a pumpkin spice flavored something yet in the past week? Or gotten just a teensy bit excited at the thought of crunching leaves under your fall boots that you’ve been dying to pull out of your closet?
If you’re still in summer mode, this post is going to completely throw off your mojo, y’all.
I’m already starting on a few fall projects around here. Shhh! Don’t hate me. After Labor Day, it’s fair game, right?
Over the weekend, I had some fall fun decorating our kitchen table and decided to whip up some cute little place card printables to place on these cable knit plates I got for 80% off during an after Christmas sale at Michael’s last year.
I think they still work for fall though, don’t you?
We always have big family events in the fall, usually with several random Saturday night dinners when we invite nearby friends and family over, Olivia’s birthday, and at Thanksgiving, we typically end up with over 20 guests at our house for the big feast.
It’s total chaos but the good kind of chaos.
But even though it’s lots of prep work getting ready for company, I get completely giddy every time. Because it’s one of the biggest reasons Robert and IÂ take so much time to work on our house; it’s so we can invite our loved ones over and make them feel as welcome as possible.
I love that a simple little place card, just a simple paper leaf, can maybe, in a way, communicate that we’re glad they’re here.
I’ll be sharing more fall goodies over the next couple of weeks!
For now, you can download this leaf placecard printable here:
And there’s a blank set too in case you’d rather write your guests’ names on them. Print them on parchment paper and you’re all set. 🙂

I’m in love with this tablescape! The wooden biggest plate (sorry, I don’t know the exact name of this thing in english), the cable-knit small plate and the leaf, this feels so cosy and warm…
Thank you, Marie! The centerpiece is a reclaimed toolbox that my mom found for me in an antique store. Love it! I fill it with all kinds of stuff all the time for different seasons. 🙂
Thank you Lauren for this printable, I have a “thing” for leaves and will enjoy adding these to my table 🙂
Glad to share it, Min!
Fall is my favorite season and I’m so excited to see what projects you’re working on. I love your tablescape and printables 🙂
Thank you, Katie!
I think those plates are perfect for fall as well. So cute live the printable. As always thanks for sharing!! 🙂
Thanks, Hope! Happy to share!
I love the centerpiece! Can you tell us a little more about what you used for it?
Thanks, Anne! My mom actually found that old toolbox for me at an antique shop. I just filled it with some faux greenery from the fall floral aisle at Michael’s along with some pine cones from the yard and a couple of white small pumpkins. 🙂
Hey Lauren – I love your fall tablescape – the centerpiece, the plaid, the printables……love it!! Thanks for sharing – looking forward to more fall posts! Blessings….
Thank you, Lanita!
Hi Lauren. Thanks for the printable. Fall is my favorite time of year and I love leaves. Your tablescape is so pretty – I love all of the different textures.
Thank you so much, Rosemary! Fall is my favorite too. 🙂

Heather
Thank you! I got them at World Market here: http://rstyle.me/n/by7ffhb5ky7 I use them ALL the time year-round.
Beautiful as always! You have a gift for styling 🙂 Would you mind sharing where you found the plaid tablecloth?
Thank you, Samantha! The plaid tablecloth is actually a throw blanket I just repurposed for our table. I got it at Ikea. Here’s the link 🙂 http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20212162/
