Green Kitchen Cabinet Inspiration
The best green kitchen cabinet paint colors for the hottest bold kitchen color trend.
If you’ve been following along on my Instagram Stories, you probably already knew this post was coming. Robert said to me last week, “Hey! Let’s just go ahead and do a quick makeover in this kitchen.” That man knows my love language: makeover. Haha!
For so long, I’ve wanted to reeeeeeeaaaaally work some magic in our kitchen.
This is what it looked like the day we moved in last year.

We managed to make a couple of little tweaks like add this pressed ceiling tile backsplash to temporarily cover the existing tile that wasn’t really our style. In a few years, we have bigger plans for this space that includes busting out a wall. (YES! Pass the sledgehammer, please.)
But until then, we’re all about the idea of a mini-makeover with a good ol’ coat of paint.

The existing granite countertop is gray with a slightly green tint, so to make that work, I realized bold green kitchen cabinets are huge right now! HUGE! And I’m fan-girling all about it lately.
At this point, we’re in the middle of painting the lower cabinets a deep green to break up all of the neutrals and make this space tie in with the rest of the high contrast rooms in our house.
So in the hunt for the perfect green for our own kitchen, I rounded up a bunch of my favorite green kitchens and dug around for all of the paint colors, if you’ve become a fan of green kitchen cabinets lately too.

This has convinced me to paint my kitchen cabinets! I like the tea light color very much. I can hear my sweet hubby moan when I tell him what I am adding to my honey do list. LOL. He does construction and everything else to perfection. I am blessed!
How did you achieve such a smooth and flawless finish on your cabinets?
I love the colour of choice!!!! You have a keen eye for decor…!!!! I have a question for you with regards to the paint sprayer. I have the same one……You said you used it for the primer and for spraying the paint…..But are those paints NOT oil based….did you thin them out..and with what…and the HOW did you thin them out. How did you clean it….afterwards… I really thought you could NOT use oil in that sprayer… I am excited to hear your answers….This just might help me with a project I have been wanting to do… Thanks so much in advance for your help…..it could really help me out… Keep your beautiful projects coming….I look forward to what you guys will do next.
Oh I have been debating the green for a while now! I’m dying to know what you choose. I have been considering Halcyon Green for a while, but now that I see the Chimichurri and Forest Floor and Tealight, I am all twisted up again, lol! And then there is that black spruce…..
Oooh I love it! Great inspiration pictures, canโt wait to see it in your home! I am painting the beadboard in our master Sherwin Williams night owl right now and I am loving it.
Ooh! I’m sure that creates a very cozy space.
