The Rec Room is Painted (Launching the Bless’er House Paint Collection!)
I cannot believe I’m about to write these words…
Bless’er House is curating a paint color collection!
Over the years, Robert and I have transformed our fireplaces and the exterior brick of our home with Romabio’s Classico Limewash and fallen head over heels in love.
It’s a company that believed in this little blog years ago and has grown right alongside it. So to share this paint color collection in collaboration with Romabio is an absolute honor.
We used the very first color of the upcoming Bless’er House Color Collection for Romabio in the rec room makeover for the Carney family, and the difference is incredible!
Remember the before?
How is this even the same room?!
On the wall, we’re introducing Romabio Low Lustre Interior paint in Feather, a timeless, modern neutral with a subtle gray hue that is perfect with both warm and cool accents to create a serene and sophisticated atmosphere.
I wanted a neutral that was adaptable and forgiving since choosing the perfect one can be a challenge. Feather ticks all of the boxes. And when paired with a pop of color, it allows that accent to be the spotlight.
Would you like to save this?
Can I tell you a secret though? When I chose the name, I chose it around the two things most precious to me.
- Robert and I have always had a “thing” for birds, and our wedding even had a bird “theme”. Feather was a little nod to our wedding day.
- It was to pay tribute to one of my favorite verses, “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4
Romabio’s mineral-based paints are absolutely gorgeous and give each color so much depth. The Low Lustre Interior finish is hypo-allergenic, virtually odorless, and creates a luminous finish. All of the Romabio Interior Paints are some of the healthiest paints without sacrificing durability.
These walls are definitely going to be put through the test soon enough, and we are completely confident they’ll stand up to the challenge.
The best part -especially for expecting mamas, young families and those with asthma or other breathing sensibilities is that there is zero smell! And not just because it’s labeled “zero VOC”, but because there are no harsh chemicals included. Besides the beautiful finish, that right there is the true benefit of Romabio’s mineral-based paints.
For the trim, we used Romabio Interior Satin in Galleria White. And for the cabinets, we used Benjamin Moore Newburg Green since we needed a specialty paint specifically for cabinetry.
I’m so ready to start loading in furniture and decorate my heart out in this cute rec room! What do you think of the progress so far? It’s come a long way, that’s for sure.
If you want to use Feather or any of the other Romabio Interior Paint colors in your own home, you can find them all here. If you don’t want to order online, or prefer to have your Interior Paint custom tinted, visit their Where To Buy page.
We’ll be adding to our collection soon!
