Trying to sign up for your email course. I moved to my parents house 10 tens ago. It’s a money pit, yet bittersweet. It’s a 100+ year old brick (semi-attached) in a college town in the northeast. I ended up with breast cancer and my husband has been laid off 3 times. All of our time, money and energy goes into things we can’t see and we do almost all of the work ourselves. The saddest thing that makes me feel the guiltiest is that we are always working on our house and haven’t been able to do very little with our 2 girls. They are embarrassed to bring friends over since it’s a constant state of construction. I can’t make decisions because when money is tight I’m afraid to make a mistake. Finding a direction would give my brain a rest. Just can’t wait to come home one day and say, “Ahh”, I’m home.” So sign me up, please! I rarely do anything for myself – but my family needs this!
