Top Favorite Items of 2019

The rest of the world has moved on to all things 2020, and we’re still over here reminiscing about 2019.

But just like looking back over all of the projects y’all loved last year, it was interesting to see all of the items Y’ALL liked as much as we did that we shared throughout 2019.

So I thought maybe it would be helpful to round up the top 19 items that you guys loved and purchased the most and share them for one last recap. You can click on the link for each one to shop them, if it helps.

Top Favorite Items of 2019

1. Our Vinyl Floor Tiles

These were the perfect solution to cover up our laundry room’s old dingy vinyl floor until one day when we can do a full renovation.

2. My Postpartum Tummy Disguising Dress

This is hands down my FAVORITE dress for hiding the mama pooch.

3. Our Living Room Ceiling Fan

I absolutely love the look of this fan and it works like a champ in our hot summers.

4. Our Guest Room Velvet Curtains

We loved these so much that we got more in a different color for our master bedroom. They’re 90% blackout and so well made for cheaper than the luxury brands.

5. Regan’s nursery wall flower felt swag

I have to admit this was a splurge item for me in Regan’s nursery makeover, and I thought about attempting to make it myself, but it’s so gorgeous and has so much detail, this level of crafting was beyond my ability. So cute!

6. Guest Bedroom Bedspread Set

I love the airy, vintage feel of this bedspread and couldn’t believe how inexpensive it is. So far, it has washed well too.

7. Our Past Living Room Rug

I have to admit, I miss this rug. It hides stains like a champ!

8. My Favorite Furniture Paint

Fusion Mineral Paint is always and forever will be my favorite furniture paint. You can see my Beginner’s Guide to Painting Furniture here, if you need help getting started. It’s so much more durable than chalk paint and easier to use since it typically requires no prep and doesn’t need a sealer, but you can still distress it and add antique effects, if you choose.

9. Our Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree

This little artificial tree is the closest thing to real. But I do think I might attempt a real one this year. We’ll see! At least I can’t kill this fake one.

10. Our Back Porch Ceiling Fans

I love the cottage style of these fans. We used the weathered wood side of the blades, but you can flip them over to make the fans all white, if that’s more your style.

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

11. Our Master Bathroom Drawer Organizers

These little clear organizers come in handy everywhere to keep drawers tidy.

12. Our Fire Pit Table

We’ve had this for over a year now and love the ambience it creates on our back porch. And for making s’mores!

13. Our TV Cord Covers

We get so many questions from some of y’all asking how we hung up our TV without the cords showing. The cords are there! They’re just covered up with these strips and painted the same color as the wall to disappear.

14. This Faux Potted Plant

Still can’t believe this is a fake! Even the dirt in the pot looks real.

15. Our Laundry Room Drying Rack

We use this rack constantly, and it easily folds up out of the way when not in use.

16. Our Gray and White Check Rug

This rug is discontinued now, but I linked one very similar. It’s the perfect “capsule” item for every season that you could dress up on the porch with pumpkins in fall, bright flowers in spring/summer, or evergreen in winter.

17. These Olive Branch Stems

This is one of those “capsule” items that work for every season. I stick them in our vases around the house year-round.

18. These Brass Float Frames

I preserved my grandmothers’ and great-grandmother’s handwritten recipes and hung them up in our kitchen in these frames. Without a doubt, it’s one of my favorite projects ever!

19. Regan’s Closet Organizer

This system has helped us get much more storage out of Regan’s nursery closet, and it really wasn’t too pricey compared to a lot of other brands.

There ya go. Ta ta, 2019!

We can’t begin to thank you enough for being along for the ride in 2019, and we hope this little blog helps you in some way. You truly make what we do possible!

Can’t wait to share more 2020 posts and projects with y’all soon!!! It’s going to be a GREAT year.
