Today, Robert and I are kicking off teenager girl bedroom design #1 of TWO we plan to finish in the coming weeks!
If you were around last winter, you might remember the rec room makeover Robert and I completed for our awesome neighbors, the Carney family.
Terra and TJ Carney have 9 kids, 5 of them being teen/tween girls sharing 2 bedrooms. So we’re taking on the challenge to make the shared spaces uniquely and beautifully theirs to reflect their sweet (and fierce) personalities.
Just for fun, since I brainstormed some teenage girl bedroom ideas for them, I thought I’d share some of the mood boards I made if you have teen girls in your life who might need a room spruce up too.

Any guesses which teenage girl bedroom idea we’re using? We’re leaning towards one design in particular that we’ll be implementing in a bedroom for two of the Carney girls this week, but I’ve already made a few tweaks along the way to suit their personalities the best.
