A round-up of designer vs. budget wall sconces and pendant lights + a trick to turn any sconce into a battery-operated light without hardwiring.
The home office is 99% finished!!! The full reveal is coming tomorrow right after I add frosting film to all 100 glass panes on the 6 French doors. (I wish that number was exaggerated… yikes!)
But I thought I’d pop in to share a little sneak peek because we installed the pendant light and wall sconces in here and it looks even better than I imagined! Ahhh!
Just for fun, I rounded up a few spluge vs. save options of some of my favorite pendant lights and wall sconces during my “perfect lighting hunt” for this space.
(Affiliate links are provided below. Full disclosure here.)
I used Nesting With Grace’s “Magic Light Trick” to make the sconces battery operated. No electrician needed! Although, we can always hardwire them later if we want to.
We totally splurged on the pendant light in here (because sometimes the heart wants what it wants and is willing to hold out for a sale to get it), BUT we opted for a cheaper knock-off designer version for our sconce lights. Zero regrets.
Also, today I’m giving away our Rejuvenation pendant light in my Instagram stories! Because I loved it so much, I thought it would be fun to give one to one of y’all.
I’ll be back tomorrow to show off this entire finished office in action with all of the amaze-ball befores and afters. Yay!
